The Inn on the Wye is a traditional dog & family friendly pub, restaurant, wedding & events venue with 12 en-suite bedrooms, nestled in the heart of the Wye Valley and on the edge of the glorious Forest of Dean, with its rolling hills and stunning scenery. We have spectacular walking and cycle paths that lead you through beautiful landscapes. You can also go fishing or enjoy numerous water-based adventures on the nearby River Wye! 

Our staff are warm and welcoming, so you know you’ll be comfortable here. Plus our food is delicious & we have a soft play bus for your children to enjoy whilst waiting for your families food orders !

  • Yes. We welcome dogs in all areas of the hotel, bar and restaurant. Click here for more information on bringing your dog to stay with you.

  • Check In is between 2pm and 8.30pm Check Out is at 10am

    we can offer a later self check in for our chalet rooms - please call for instructions.

  • The Inn on the Wye is situated over 3 levels each with its own access although this does involve walking down or up a slight incline for the accommodation inside the hotel in order to avoid the stairs. There is access along the front of the building for the restaurant. If you have limited mobility please call to discuss as we can advise you of the best options.

  • All of our guest bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers. We do not have any bathrooms with baths.

  • The chalet rooms are located in a building directly accessed from the car park rather than in the main hotel building. These are ideal for our guests travelling with pets as there is direct access from the car park. They have a woodland backdrop, hence the name, and all have en-suite bathrooms with the option of twin, double or king sized beds. They have the same facilities as the hotel rooms - tea & coffee, free wifi etc

  • It is not always necessary to book but we do advise booking in order to reserve a table at a time that is suitable for you

  • Yes we have plenty of free parking on site for up to 40 cars

  • Breakfast is included in all room rates except the family room where it is charged per person based on occupancy.
